Built in 1895 this beautiful Victorian character filled semi-detached cottage is just a short walk from the medieval town and castle of Conwy (700m), within an easy walk of Conwy quay and smallest house in Great Britain (700 meters), Conwy marina and harbour (2300m / 1.4miles)  Conwy  mountain (1.2m/1850m) .

Perfectly situated for visiting the beaches, countryside and gems Snowdonia National Park has to offer , this property sleeping up to eight people (Sofa bed in dining room – on request)  is a wonderful base for families or groups of friends. Aldersyde is pet friendly and welcomes well behaved pets all year around.

On entering Aldersyde, you will be met with the character features of this property  including lovely Victorian alcove high ceilings, original tiled flooring, wooden staircase and feature fireplaces in most rooms.

The front room has a large bay window, making the room light and airy, with comfy sofas set around a cast iron Victorian log fire.

The dining area is spacious and large whilst the kitchen boasting granite worktops and range master double oven, the kitchen is fully-equipped to prepare some home-cooked meals.

Upstairs has three bedrooms with added flexibility of bunk beds ,a double bedroom and a zip and link bed, giving you the choice of a varied set up for your group.

Leading from the dining room out on to the garden are large French doors opening onto a wonderful lower seating area with plenty of furniture and a built in barbecue.

By opening the secure gate, steps then lead up to the upper level of the lawned garden with a raised decked area at the far end with more seating to choose from, an ideal place to enjoy the sun in a South west facing  garden area with sun until 10pm during the height of summer months.

A short walk takes you into the centre of Conwy itself is just five minute walk away with a great selection of artisan shops, child and dog friendly pubs, wine bars, cafes, quality restaurants and takeaways.

The famous  Conwy medieval castle and  Conwy quay are within walking distance of the property, as are plenty of beautiful routes for walking cycling and family friendly lakes are less than 20 minutes away for paddle boarding, wild swimming or some climbing in the Conwy valley.

A short journey into the Snowdonia National Park, or a little further afield to Anglesey or the Llyn Peninsula, North Wales has over 100 miles of spectacular coastline and beaches to explore.

There is so much to do in Conwy and the surrounding areas, perhaps visit one of the Cadw or National trust sites such as Plas Mawr or Aberconwy House, Smallest House in great Britain or for tranquility and the beauty of horticulture perhaps visit the world-famous Bodnant Gardens.

An archway leads to the through to the kitchen area with sliding doors onto a pretty little enclosed seating area with a bistro table. There are wonderful walks all round, including the North Wales Path which runs through the town, as well as walks through the Snowdonia National park – Sychnant Pass , as well as beauty spots such as the Great Orme in Llandudno or perhaps a visit to the amazing waterfall at Abergwyngregyn just 5 miles away,

Tal y Fan is a newly refurbished split level bungalow, just on the outskirts of Conwy town, within an easy walk of the quay (800 meters), harbour (1.4m /2300m)  Conwy  mountain (1.1 m/1750m) and castle (700 meters)

Boasting a huge south west facing garden the property can be set up for guests with a double bed and either a super-king-size or as set as two singles, this property can host a total of four guests.

Tal y Fan has a shower room, kitchen/diner and a modern sitting room with log burning stove, cosy sofa and free view TV.

Ample free off-road parking for two vehicles is located on a driveway to the front of the property, whilst a very large secure and enclosed garden can be found at the rear.

Llandudno is only 4.5miles away ,here you can stroll along the vibrant Victorian pier and watch the oldest Punch and Judy show  in Great Britain Est. 1860, or enjoy traditional fish and chips on the sand.
