Mrs Gough, August 2020

“We had a lovely holiday at Bluebell cottage.”

The cottage is placed very close to the centre of Conwy and it only took 5 minutes to walk to the centre and a few more to the quayside. The beach was 40 mins walk away but you could take the car and Morfa beach is dog friendly with lots of rock pools and ideal for dogs. The castle walls are just across the road from the cottage. The cottage has a shared garden just across the parking spaces so our dog had fun playing with a neighbours dog there. Conwy is close to the pretty seaside town of Llandudno and we also visited the picturesque village of Betswycoed which was only a few minutes drive. Supermarkets Asda, Lidl and Tesco are only 4 miles away so no need to brings lots with you plus there is a lovely park a few minutes from the cottage for dogs and children alike. The cottage was lovely and well equipped (except we couldn’t find a corkscrew but thanks for the wine anyway, we used the meat fork to open it). Yes, the driveway to the parking area is very tight and not recommended for the nervous driver or big car although there was a Transit van in the car park so that got in there somehow and my only criticism was that the fridge was extremely low to the ground and would benefit from being placed on a low table as I had to sit on the floor to see inside properly. Otherwise, fantastic holiday, thank you.
